01 Who We Are

Ward 7 Games ("we," "us," or "our") is an independent game studio located in Meridian, Idaho, USA, operating under the domain ward7games.studio. This Privacy Policy applies to our E for Everyone rated titles: Six by Seven and Inner Cairn.

These games are designed to be accessible to all ages, including children. We take children's privacy seriously and apply strict data minimization practices to these titles.

02 Information We Collect

Information Collected Automatically

• Crash logs and performance diagnostics (non-identifying)
• Aggregate gameplay statistics (session length, level completion — not tied to identity)
• Device type and OS version for compatibility purposes

Information You May Provide

• Username for local leaderboard display (stored on device only unless Google Play Games is enabled)
• Google Play Games profile (name and avatar) if you opt in to sign in

What We Do NOT Collect

• Real name, email address, or contact information
• Precise location data
• Photos, camera, or microphone data
• Any data from children under 13 beyond what is listed above

03 How We Use Your Information

• To operate and improve gameplay experience
• To diagnose crashes and fix bugs
• To display leaderboard scores (if Google Play Games is enabled)
• To comply with legal obligations

We do not use data from these titles for behavioral advertising. We do not sell your information.

04 Sharing Your Information

• Google Play / Firebase: For crash reporting and leaderboards, subject to Google's privacy policy
• Legal Requirements: When required by law or to protect our rights
• No Advertising Networks: These games do not integrate ad networks that collect personal data

05 Children's Privacy (COPPA)

• We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 beyond anonymous crash/performance data
• These games do not display behavioral advertising
• In-app purchases (cosmetics only) require parental authorization via Google Play Family Library
• We do not allow children to create public-facing profiles or share personal information in-game
• If we discover we have inadvertently collected personal information from a child under 13, we will delete it promptly

06 Your Rights (GDPR / CCPA)

European Users (GDPR)

You have the right to access, rectify, erase, restrict, and port your personal data, and to object to processing. Our lawful basis is legitimate interests (operating the game) or your consent where applicable.

California Users (CCPA)

You have the right to know what data we collect, request deletion, and opt out of sale. We do not sell personal information. Contact us at privacy@ward7games.studio to exercise your rights.

07 Data Retention

Crash logs are retained for 90 days. Aggregate gameplay statistics are retained for up to 24 months. Google Play Games leaderboard data is managed by Google and governed by their retention policies.

08 Security

We implement commercially reasonable security measures. Given the minimal data these titles collect, the risk surface is intentionally small. No method of electronic storage is 100% secure.

• AdMob Privacy (Inner Cairn only — non-personalized ads)

10 Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be communicated via the "Last Updated" date above or via in-app notification. Continued use constitutes acceptance.
